POSITION OBJECTIVE
Support NWFHN and its provider network in providing exceptional child protection services by ensuring data quality and producing informational, management and performance reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and completeness in compliance with state child protection guidelines.
Assist in generating reports for internal performance tracking and external reporting to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and other regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with case managers, supervisors, and other staff to identify and correct data discrepancies.
Provide training to staff on data entry processes, FSFN usage, and best practices for maintaining data quality.
Support the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives by providing accurate data for analysis and planning.
Assist with maintaining FSFN and other data systems, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in coordination with IT staff.
Act as security officer for Child Protection systems including managing access to the Department of Children and Families' systems
Assist with programmatic and/or administrative monitoring
Assist with the development and writing of policies and procedures regarding data

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university OR more than two years' experience with child protection system and with the Department of Children and Families' Child Protection Information System (FSFN)
Experience with data analysis and reporting software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office programs
Driver's License (Class E - Private Vehicle)
Drug Testing/Screening
Background Checks
Reference Checks
Motor Vehicle Record Check
PREFERRED
Experience with Microsoft SQL/Microsoft Access/ Business Objects/Power BI/Python
Experience with website maintenance
Experience with child welfare system
Experience with the Department of Children and Families' Child Protection Information System (FSFN)

Proficiency in design of data display
Ability to evaluate and analyze data
Excellent assessment skills and intervention strategies
Ability to act with a high level of independent judgment
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of other professionals
Ability to travel and work flexible hours as required
Exceptional knowledge of community resources
Ability to work in a team as well as working independently
