Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in athletic communications, sports information, communications, journalism, public relations, digital media, or a closely related field.
Preferred:
Experience working in an intercollegiate athletics environment. Experience with NCAA or conference statistical reporting. Experience operating collegiate athletic statistical software. Experience with athletics website content management systems. Experience supporting NCAA postseason or conference championship events. Experience with social media and digital content development. Experience working with Division I athletics programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Two years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrated ability to write, edit, and proofread professional communications. Demonstrated knowledge of athletic communications and media relations. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required by the athletics schedule. Valid driver's license may be required for assigned travel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in communications, Journalism, Sports Management, Higher Education Administration, or related field. Division I athletics experience. Experience with NCAA statistical and reporting systems. Experience with StatCrew, Genius Sports, NCAA LiveStats, SIDEARM Sports, or comparable platforms. Experience managing athletics social media and digital content. Experience coordinating media operations for championship or postseason events. The salary range for this positio n is: $58,350 to $68,000.
