Why Waukesha? This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a major enterprise system while working in an environment where the purpose of the work is visible every day. The School District of Waukesha Technology Department offers: Mission-driven work supporting students, teachers, families, and schools. The opportunity to lead Infinite Campus in a large and complex Wisconsin school district. A collaborative Data & Applications team with responsibilities intentionally divided so one person is not expected to do everything. Experienced colleagues who understand schools and technology and who have chosen careers in public education. A professional environment that values thoughtful planning, documentation, collaboration, and sustainable workloads. The opportunity to improve long-standing processes instead of simply maintaining them. Long-term stability and benefits, including participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). Work that directly contributes to the quality and effectiveness of public education in the Waukesha community. Our Mission We are Waukesha. We prepare students for community, college, and career. Accurate demographic and program information affects state reporting and district decisions. Reliable data allows teachers, administrators, and families to get the information they need. As the Student Information Systems & Data Coordinator, you will play a central role in making those systems reliable, understandable, and effective for the people who depend on them. If you know Infinite Campus, understand school-district operations, and want the opportunity to lead and improve a major student-information environment as part of a supportive technology team, we would like to hear from you. Qualifications A successful candidate will demonstrate: Experience administering or deeply supporting Infinite Campus or a comparable K-12 student information system. Strong understanding of student enrollment, scheduling, calendars, grading, programs, and school-year processes. Understanding of data quality and the importance of accurate source-system information. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to organize complicated annual and recurring processes. Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, administrators, school secretaries, teachers, and other stakeholders. Ability to establish standards while remaining responsive to school and department needs. Strong documentation and training skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of long-term system health. A collaborative approach to solving organizational problems. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to empathize and find common ground for the good of the organization. Ability to work as a successful team member with co-workers. Should have a history of confidentiality, stability, neatness, punctuality, loyalty, ethical consciousness, organizational skills, and flexibility. Experience with Wisconsin WISEdata reporting, DPI systems, Ed-Fi, or Wisconsin school-district student-data processes is highly desirable.
