On-site We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level technology projects for a large organization in Pascagoula, Mississippi. This position will lead and direct one or more project teams responsible for the design, implementation, and modification of IT projects spanning multiple functional organizations. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a complex or highly regulated environment. What You'll Do Lead multiple IT projects from planning through implementation and completion. Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource requirements. Coordinate technical and business resources across multiple departments and stakeholder groups. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to technical requirements. Manage project risks, dependencies, scope changes, and competing priorities. Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams. Coordinate with outsourced partners, vendors, and managed service providers. Track project financials and manage complex project budgets. Communicate project status, risks, and technical information to both technical teams and executive/non-technical stakeholders. Apply appropriate project management methodologies based on project requirements. Utilize modern project management technology, including AI-enabled tools where appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following education/experience combinations: High School Diploma + 9 years of relevant experience Associate Degree + 7 years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience Master's Degree or higher + 3 years of relevant experience PhD + 0 years of experience Highly Preferred Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years successfully managing enterprise-level IT projects PMP certification Experience in defense, government contracting, shipbuilding, manufacturing, or another heavily regulated industry Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects Strong technical IT background Experience working with outsourced partners and managed service providers Microsoft Project experience ServiceNow PPM experience Microsoft Planner Premium experience Expert knowledge of multiple project management methodologies Strong financial and budget management experience Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills Ability to introduce structure and direction in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments AI & Modern Project Management Candidates with experience utilizing AI-powered project management tools for predictive scheduling, resource optimization, risk analysis, or IT operations are highly desirable. A practical understanding of AI concepts and their application within project management is preferred. Compensation $44.00-$48.00 per hour , depending on experience.
