  Job Summary
  We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Playwright Technical Lead to drive quality across modern web applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

The role will establish automation best practices, improve test coverage, contribute to CI/CD quality gates, and explore AI-assisted testing practices. Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Strong hands-on experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright

Quality Assurance and test automation expertise

JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar programming language

Functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

Web application, API, microservices, and distributed-system testing

Load and performance testing using JMeter

CI/CD tools and automated testing in modern DevOps environments

Defect identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Exposure to AI-assisted development or testing tools and practices

Familiarity with cloud environments and modern application architectures

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.

Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.

Conduct load and performance testing using JMeter.

Develop automated testing strategies for web applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and associated quality gates.

Establish automation best practices and improve test coverage.

Evaluate and apply AI-assisted t esting tools and practices to improve efficiency and coverage.

Maintain high quality standards within a regulated banking or financial-services environment.

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

Provide technical leadership for quality engineering and test automation.

Coordinate quality activities with development, product, and architecture stakeholders.

Promote automation standards and quality-engineering best practices.

Communicate technical risks, defects, and testing outcomes clearly.

Base Salary Range :

$100,000 to $130,000 Per Annum
