Greensboro, NC Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $20 an hour 13 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork E-commerce Attention to detail Business requirements MySQL Full Job Description Web Developer - Ecommerce, LAMP Stack & Angular Role Summary We are looking to expand our IT team by adding a motivated Web Developer with ecommerce and web application development experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their technical skills within an IT department, work with a broad range of technologies, and become involved in both the development and operational sides of our business. The successful candidate will help design, develop, maintain, and enhance responsive, high performance web applications across several platforms, including LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), Angular, Magento, and custom-built frameworks. The ideal candidate combines UI/UX awareness with hands-on development skills and is comfortable working with APIs, databases, ecommerce systems, and dynamic web applications. Because our technology directly supports our garment and ecommerce operations, this position will also collaborate with other production teams and gain exposure to technologies used in the garment embellishment and fulfillment process, including DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing. We are looking for someone who is not only interested in filling a development position, but also wants to become part of our growing IT team, expand their technical knowledge, take on new responsibilities, and grow within the department.
Core Responsibilities:
UI/UX Design Design modern, intuitive, and user-friendly ecommerce interfaces. Develop and improve product pages, shopping carts, checkout flows, customer portals, and internal dashboards. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new functionality. Maintain consistent branding, usability, and user experience throughout our web applications. Identify opportunities to improve existing interfaces and workflows. Front-End Development Develop responsive and maintainable web interfaces using technologies including:
HTML5 CSS3
JavaScript Bootstrap Angular Additional Responsibilities Include Building reusable and cross-browser-compatible UI components. Translating design concepts and mockups into clean, functional code. Troubleshooting and improving existing front-end applications. Optimizing applications for usability, responsiveness, and performance. Dynamic Web Development & API Integration Use AJAX and asynchronous technologies to create dynamic user experiences without unnecessary full-page reloads. Integrate web applications with backend systems using RESTful APIs. Work extensively with JSON data structures and API responses. Develop/troubleshoot integrations between ecommerce applications and internal systems. Test and troubleshoot API requests, responses, authentication, and data processing. Ecommerce Development Develop, customize, and maintain ecommerce functionality including: Product catalog and product pages Shopping carts Checkout processes Customer account interfaces Order management functionality Pricing and inventory integration Internal administrative tools Work with both existing ecommerce platforms and internally developed applications. Backend Development Work extensively with existing and new PHP and Angular applications.
Develop and maintain functionality involving:
PHP MySQL SQL queries and database operations REST APIs JSON Application integrations Existing custom frameworks and legacy applications Troubleshoot issues across the application stack, from the browser interface through backend application logic and database operations. Production & Business Systems Our IT department works closely with the operational side of the company. This position will have opportunities to learn and support technologies associated with our garment production and fulfillment environment.
Responsibilities may include:
Working with production teams to improve technology-driven workflows. Supporting integration between ecommerce, order processing, and production systems. Learning technologies associated with DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing and garment embellishment. Helping automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency. Troubleshooting software and technology issues affecting production workflows. Desired Skills & Experience Experience with several of the following is preferred: PHP MySQL / SQL JavaScript
HTML5 / CSS3
Bootstrap Angular LAMP environments RESTful APIs
JSON AJAX
/ asynchronous web development Magento or similar ecommerce platforms Git / source control Responsive web design UI/UX principles Ecommerce development Experience with every technology listed above is not required. We value candidates with strong technical fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.
