PAY RANGE
: $25.00 - $30.00/Hour, Based on Experience
CIVIL SERVICE TITLE
(S) : Bus Driver (Non-Competitive)
JOB DESCRIPTION
: Bus Driver (Substitute)
Hours Per Day:
Varies; typical hours are from 7:30am - 2:30pm.
Work Year:
10 Months - Off during school breaks including summer (July & August).
QUALIFICATIONS
: NYS Class B-CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements. We will provide training here for you to obtain this license and the skills necessary to safely transport students. Annual physical, drug and alcohol testing per federal law. Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. Clean driving record. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively. The ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues. The ability to carry out oral and written instructions. Displays a positive attitude and builds healthy relationships with students and staff.
