We are looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our team. •no long-haul or overnight routes Primarily Monday-Friday schedule Local and regional deliveries within approximately a 150-mile radius Occasional weekend work may be required Stable employment with a growing, family-owned company Professional, safety-focused work environment Quality equipment that is well maintained The Position Our CDL Drivers safely and efficiently operate company trucks and trailers to deliver metal roofing, wall products, and related materials to customer locations. Our delivery vehicles include 3500 and 4500 dually trucks , primarily pulling bumper-hitch trailers , with some gooseneck trailers. This is more than a driving position. Drivers are an important part of our customer service team and represent Buckeye Metal Sales at customer locations. The successful candidate will take pride in making safe, professional deliveries and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company trucks and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies Deliver roofing, wall, and related metal products to customers accurately and on schedule Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials Assist customers with unloading and placement of products when required Inspect loads and verify delivery quantities and products Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and documentation Communicate professionally with customers and respond to their needs Perform routine vehicle inspections Identify maintenance or repair needs and promptly report them to management Maintain a clean and safe vehicle Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT requirements Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Clean and safe driving record No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or serious moving violations within the past 3 years No alcohol-related convictions Professional attitude and strong customer-service skills Dependable and punctual Able to safely handle and unload metal roofing and related products Physically able to perform the essential duties of the position, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions Good communication skills Willingness to work as part of a team Prior experience with trailers, including bumper-hitch and/or gooseneck trailers, is preferred Experience hauling building materials, roofing, metal, lumber, or similar products is a plus Must be willing to work in a faith-based/religious work environment Why Work for Buckeye Metal Sales?
