Job Description

Job Summary I am looking for someone to run all of Ohio,and parts of Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennesse. Most drivers are home every night. We generally do not run on weekends. I expect driver to keep truck clean inside and out.
YOU MUST SPEAK ENGLISH.
You earn your paycheck depending on how you want to run. I will drug test pre hire and randomly. Must have at least 2 years experience. My trucks as of now are all older pre ELOG Peterbilts and Kenworth with
MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS
if you can't drive a manual please don't waste my time. I will take you on a road test before being hired. The company is pretty layed back. Youll be dispatched the eve before. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers with manual transmission, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Drive over-the-road (OTR) routes efficiently while maintaining scheduled delivery times. Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimal routes and adapt to traffic or road conditions for timely deliveries. Ensure proper documentation for freight movement, including load manifests and delivery receipts. Maintain truck cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all safety standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or safety concerns. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across long distances. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazard classification for dangerous goods, and safety protocols for truck driving. Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission confidently and safely. Experience in logistics cargo handling for various types of freight. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the specific vehicle types driven.
Pay:
$900.00 - $1,500.00 per week
