A Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver drives large commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, semi-trucks, or big rigs. Responsibilities typically include transporting cargo across long distances, sometimes over the course of multiple days. They may work for trucking companies, freight carriers, logistics, or shipping companies.
Since 2004, Deck Family Farm has grown high-quality, nutritious food on over 300 certified organic acres in Junction City. We raise six species of animals using intensive grazing and regenerative practices that build soil, air, and plant health. Along with organic pastures, the farm hosts wetlands, riparian corridors, and forest.
The Role:
We're looking for a Farmers Market Driver/Rep to deliver goods to our Portland-area markets in a 24ft box truck and transit van. You'll review orders, load and unload the vehicle, and represent the farm at the market. We're looking for someone motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable driving safely in all conditions. A clean driving record and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required for this role. This position includes staying overnight in Portland on occasion, accommodations covered by the farm.
