Job Description

Overview The Brush Crew works to cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to maintain clean terrain for ski runs in preparation for winter usage. Works well in a team environment. This is a seasonal full-time position. Come work and play at Seattle's home mountain, Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Prunes trees and trims jagged stumps, using saws or pruning shears. Piles up wood debris and brush or loads onto truck, using winch. Qualifications What we are looking for: High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution preferred. Experience using chain saws or landscaping tools. Possess a valid Driver's License. Possess a clear understanding of job‐site safety and keep job site signs on all current jobs Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials Able to operate machines, motor vehicles, hand tools, and job specific equipment and tools Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness of work Join our team and enjoy The Summit Experience! Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $21.50 to $23.50 This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
