The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and special events. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and a passion for working with children in a school environment. Job Details

• August 19, 2026 starting day
• Approximately 4.5 hours per day (6:00 a.m
• 8:15 a.m./1:45 p.m
• 4:00 p.m.)
• 15 accrued Sick Days/year (maximum 250 days)
• 03 Personal Days

• Safely operate a school bus on designated routes, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as school district policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized bus interior.
• Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce rules to promote a safe and respectful environment on the bus.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation issues.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on safety protocols and regulations.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to bus operations and student transportation. Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Previous experience driving a bus or working with children is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Availability to work early mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings as needed.
• Physical ability to assist students and perform necessary tasks related to bus operation.
