Job Description
We are a dynamic, growing small business specializing in water mitigation and restoration services. With a commitment to excellence, rapid response, and customer satisfaction, we help homeowners and businesses recover from water damage efficiently and effectively. As we expand our operations, we're seeking a driven professional to spearhead our growth through strategic partnerships and referrals.
Job Summary:
We're looking for an experienced Business Development Lead to join our team and focus on expanding our customer base. This role is pivotal in leveraging industry connections to secure partnerships that drive water mitigation referrals. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running by utilizing their established network in related service industries to generate immediate business opportunities. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation, including base salary plus performance-based incentives.Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with companies in the service industry, including HVAC, plumbing, construction, insurance, and property management firms, to increase water mitigation leads and executions. Utilize your existing professional network to quickly establish productive relationships and secure referral agreements. Develop and implement business development strategies to further diversify our client base and expand market reach. Conduct outreach, presentations, and negotiations to develop partnerships that drive business results Track and report on business development metrics, such as referral volume, partnership success rates, and revenue growth from new sources. Collaborate with our operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain strong partner relationships. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build and nurture connections.Qualifications and Requirements:
Plumbing sales experience will be prioritized, bring your contacts and network! Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnership management in the mitigation, restoration, construction, or related service industries. Existing, productive business relationships with companies in our service area (HVAC, plumbing, construction, etc.) that can be leveraged immediately to drive referrals — candidates without a ready network need not apply. Strong understanding of the water mitigation and restoration industry, with knowledge of referral dynamics and partnership models. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a small business environment. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience is prioritized. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.What We Offer:
