Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support payroll operations in a long-term contract role based in Newington, Connecticut. In this position, you will play a key role in reviewing payroll information, ensuring timekeeping accuracy, and assisting with employee questions in a responsive and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance payroll processes and employee support. Review employee timekeeping data, identify inconsistencies, and work with appropriate teams to resolve issues promptly. Based on general knowledge.
Address employee inquiries related to payroll, attendance, and related matters with a high level of professionalism and customer service. Based on general knowledge.
Perform document review and analysis to support payroll processing, issue resolution, and audit preparation. Based on general knowledge.
Collaborate with internal partners to identify process gaps and recommend improvements that strengthen payroll operations and service delivery. Based on general knowledge.
Monitor open employee-related concerns, communicate progress updates, and help drive timely resolution through proactive follow-up. Based on general knowledge.
Assist with business analysis activities by documenting observations, gathering requirements, and supporting efforts to align business needs with operational processes. Based on general knowledge.
