Piper Sandler is currently seeking undergraduate interns for summer 2027 to support the Public Finance division in our Leawood, KS office. Our public finance group provides underwriting and financial advisory services to state & local governments and not-for-profit entities. Supported by a broad national platform, our expert teams leverage localized knowledge to facilitate the issuance of taxable and tax-exempt debt across a range of sectors including state & local government, charter schools, cultural & social service nonprofits, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, project finance, K-12 school districts, senior living, special district group, and transportation. Responsibilities:
Creation of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets Build information sources Assist Public Finance team with projects and assignments
Compile Pitchbooks Requirements:
Excellent oral, written communication and problem-solving skills Strong analytical ability Detail oriented Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint This internship opportunity is open to undergraduate students who graduate in December 2027 or Spring 2028. The anticipated pay rate for individuals expressing interest in this position is $21 per hour.
