Enstrom Helicopter Corporation is seeking a Sales Strategy Manager to support domestic and international growth through market intelligence, sales planning, and business development. This is a hands-on, strategy-focused opportunity for someone who can turn market research, customer insights, and commercial data into clear recommendations. A significant portion of the role is dedicated to understanding market demand, evaluating competitors, identifying priority customers, and developing short- and long-range commercial plans. Your work will help answer important questions: Which markets should Enstrom prioritize? Where are the strongest growth opportunities? How should we focus our sales resources and marketing investments? What new programs or partnerships should we pursue? You will work closely with company leadership and teams across Sales, Marketing, Aftermarket, Product Support, Flight Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to align market opportunities with Enstrom's capabilities and business priorities. What You'll Do Identify and prioritize growth opportunities. Research domestic and international helicopter markets, customer segments, mission requirements, competitive aircraft, pricing, and purchasing considerations. Recommend target markets, sales channels, and business-development priorities. Build sales plans and demand forecasts. Develop market-size estimates, demand assumptions, and forecasts by aircraft model, customer segment, mission, and region. Provide commercial insights that support annual budgets, production planning, resource decisions, and long-range business planning. Turn commercial data into action. Analyze sales pipelines, customer information, historical performance, and won, lost, or stalled opportunities. Recommend improvements to market strategy, positioning, pricing, messaging, and sales approach. Influence marketing strategy. Partner with Marketing to shape target audiences, regional priorities, messaging, digital strategy, advertising investments, content, trade shows, and lead-generation activities using customer and market intelligence. Evaluate new commercial initiatives. Develop business cases for geographic expansion, strategic partnerships, leasing or financing concepts, and other growth opportunities. Provide insights to support aircraft configurations, future product considerations, and aftermarket opportunities. Strengthen commercial reporting and planning. Support improvements to CRM data, customer segmentation, dashboards, pipeline reporting, and forecasting. Present market assessments, competitive analysis, and actionable recommendations to leadership. Support relationships and business development. Engage with customers, operators, flight schools, fleet customers, dealers, distributors, representatives, and government organizations. Support proposals, customer meetings, aircraft demonstrations, factory visits, and industry events as assigned. What You'll Bring A bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered. Experience in sales strategy, business development, market analysis, sales, marketing strategy, account management, or another commercial role, with experience in forecasting, strategic planning, market research, commercial analytics, or business planning. Demonstrated ability to analyze market, customer, competitive, financial, and business information and translate findings into practical recommendations. The ability to understand technically complex products and evaluate customer missions, operational requirements, pricing, competition, and purchasing considerations. Strong analytical, presentation, written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, collaborate across departments, and manage competing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, reporting tools, and other business systems. Experience That Will Help You Stand Out Experience in aviation, aerospace, rotorcraft, aircraft manufacturing, or another technically complex industry is preferred. Familiarity with domestic and international markets, helicopter operators, flight-training organizations, government customers, public-safety and utility operators, fleet customers, or dealer and distributor networks is especially valuable. Experience developing business cases, market-entry strategies, pricing recommendations, or new commercial programs is also beneficial, along with an understanding of aircraft acquisition, operating economics, lifecycle costs, financing, and aftermarket support. A pilot certificate, aviation operational experience, or technical knowledge of rotorcraft is beneficial but not required. Location & Travel T his position is based in Menominee, Michigan. Initial on-site work is required to develop a strong understanding of Enstrom aircraft, customers, manufacturing operations, sales processes, and internal teams. A hybrid work arrangement may be considered based on assigned responsibilities, performance, customer requirements, and business needs. Domestic travel may be required for customer meetings, trade shows, market-development activities, aircraft demonstrations, and other business needs.
