IV (Lead) at Horizontal Talent in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota Posted in 3 days ago. $61.00 - $97.00 per hour Join a dynamic fleet maintenance technology initiative as a Business Analyst supporting application deployment, process improvement, and user readiness across a complex, cross-functional environment. This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to help shape solutions that improve business operations, strengthen testing and documentation practices, and support meaningful technology adoption. Responsibilities Translate business needs into clear requirements and solution recommendations that align with the global template and fleet maintenance objectives. Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases for new functionality, including benefit, cost, risk, and impact considerations. Support the CMMS deployment by reviewing ticket backlogs, prioritizing issues, and driving items through resolution. Contribute to requirements gathering for additional product line rollouts and broader deployment efforts. Develop test plans and test cases, perform functional testing, and help ensure successful user acceptance testing. Support, test, and enhance information systems ranging from simple to moderately complex solutions. Collaborate with senior team members to strengthen error handling and issue management within assigned applications. Maintain accurate documentation and provide training to new users as needed. Participate in unit testing and integration testing efforts. Work closely with cross-functional teams while maintaining strong communication and a collaborative approach. Skills At least 4 years of business analyst experience in fleet maintenance or a closely related equipment maintenance environment. Experience supporting one full lifecycle fleet or equipment maintenance deployment. Background in leading or participating in requirements-gathering workshops. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, matrixed teams. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills. Self-directed mindset with the ability to balance independent problem-solving and thoughtful collaboration. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Ability to work in Central Time hours. Preferred Skills Experience with Cetaris CMMS deployments or support. Experience supporting Mastermind deployments or operations. Knowledge of road energy transportation business operations. Exposure to Snowflake integration work. Familiarity with training end users and supporting adoption of new systems.
