Job Description
We are seeking an SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant for a contract position based in Wayzata, Minnesota. This is a 6+ month engagement supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, storage, and material movement processes. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into practical SAP WM solutions through configuration, testing, process improvement, and implementation support. Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and recommend practical SAP WM solutions. Evaluate warehouse processes, document requirements, support solution design decisions, and ensure system configurations align with business objectives. Support requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user support, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization. Lead or support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production support activities. Identify process gaps, troubleshoot functional issues, coordinate resolutions, and help ensure stable warehouse operations during implementation and support phases. Guide and support internal resources while providing practical SAP WM expertise. Mentor users, transfer knowledge, assist with user adoption, and serve as a trusted advisor to business and technical teams. Explain SAP WM processes, provide implementation guidance, support decision-making, and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Required Strong hands-on SAP Warehouse Management (WM) functional consulting experience. Proven track record of successfully delivering at least two to three end-to-end SAP WM implementations. Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, go-live, and production support. Experience supporting warehouse processes including inventory management, receiving, storage, and material movement. Experience leading or supporting system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production support activities. Ability to communicate effectively across business and technical teams. Ability to contribute immediately to an active implementation environment. Preferred Food manufacturing, food processing, or broader food supply chain experience. Experience supporting SAP WM environments within large manufacturing or distribution organizations. Experience mentoring, training, or guiding business users and internal team members. Technical knowledge; however, this role is not focused on heavy ABAP development or custom programming.
