In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals find meaningful employment opportunities and navigate the job market. As a member of our employment services team, you will provide expert guidance, support, and resources to job seekers while collaborating with local employers and community partners.
Job DescriptionMatch job seekers with suitable employment opportunities and facilitate the application processMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, job placements, and program outcomesDevelop and nurture relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities and promote our servicesStay informed about labor market trends, job search strategies, and employment lawsParticipate in outreach activities and job fairs to promote employment servicesCollaborate with program staff to understand the needs and skills of participants and match them with suitable employment opportunitiesEstablish and maintain relationships with employers across various industries to create job and internship opportunities for program participantsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or 2 years' work experience in business-to-business sales, marketing, customer service, staffing or recruitingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated strong customer service skills. Strong presentation skills with public speaking or outside sales experienceFamiliarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resourcesDemonstrated knowledge of labor market trendsFriendly, professional demeanorAbility to work well in teams and independentlyProficient in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Valid Driver's License in good standing and proof of current automobile insurance requiredBi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferredAdditional Information•
