8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst , preferably within Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or Cards. Should be exp. on any programming language (.Net/ Java/ C++) , who can read the code. Good understanding of credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, payment processing, and transaction lifecycle. Gherkin - TDD (Test-Driven Development), BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), and DDD (Domain-Driven Design) are popular software development approaches that help teams write clean code, build correct features, and match business goals. Strong understanding of card authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, disputes, reversals, refunds, and transaction processing. Experience working with payment/card processing systems and third-party payment platforms. Strong understanding of
REST/SOAP
APIs, web services, JSON/XML, system integrations, and interface specifications. Ability to understand technical architecture, application flows, system dependencies, and data flows. Experience with Microsoft technologies like SQL/database queries, Joins, Procedures for data validation and analysis. Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, process mapping, and documentation. Experience creating BRD, FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar. Strong experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
