Job Description
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of inpatient clinical nursing experience in Med-Surg, ICU, ED, or a similar acute-care setting.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in clinical informatics, business analysis, or EHR implementation.
- Strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows, including admission, medication administration, transfers, and discharge planning.
- Familiarity with EHR systems; experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar systems is relevant.
- Working knowledge of medication safety and medication reconciliation processes.
- Ability to translate clinical requirements into clear documentation for technical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
- BSN or higher.
- Informatics certification, such as ANCC Informatics Nursing Certification.
- Experience with FHIR, HL7, or C-CDA interoperability standards.
- Experience with EHR CPOE, Pharmacy, MAR, or Med Rec modules.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience authoring or reviewing clinical PRDs.
- Experience supporting multi-site EHR rollouts or new site onboarding. Working Relationships The Clinical Business Analyst will work closely with:

- Bedside nurses, physicians, and unit managers
