Job Description
Stanchion Security maintains an active pipeline of opportunities supporting New York State government technology engagements. We are currently building our bench of qualified Senior Software Developers for upcoming W-2 contract roles, onsite in Albany, NY. The focus is on Java-based enterprise web application development, Angular front-end development, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Java-based, multi-tier web applications using J2EE or Spring Boot, leveraging industry-standard design patterns and agile methodologies
- Build Angular user interfaces, reusable components, and accessible web applications meeting
ADA/WCAG
requirements- Develop and integrate REST or SOAP services, backend business services, batch jobs, and application interfaces
- Develop complex relational database queries and data-access components using SQL, DB2, Hibernate, JPA, or comparable technologies
- Use GitHub or GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipeline tools for automated build, test, and deployment
- Develop or support applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform or another enterprise cloud platform
- Analyze and document existing application designs, enhancement roadmaps, technical debt, and system functionality
Required Qualifications:
- 60 months (5 years) of experience developing Java-based, multi-tier web applications using J2EE or Spring Boot with industry-standard design patterns and agile methodologies
- 48 months of experience developing Angular user interfaces, reusable components, and accessible web applications (ADA/WCAG compliant)
- 48 months of experience developing and integrating REST or SOAP services, backend business services, batch jobs, and application interfaces
- 36 months of experience developing complex relational database queries and data-access components (SQL, DB2, Hibernate, JPA, or comparable)
- 36 months of experience using GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipeline technologies for automated build, test, and deployment
- 24 months of experience developing or supporting applications on Google Cloud Platform or another enterprise cloud platform
- 24 months of experience analyzing and documenting application designs, enhancement roadmaps, or technical debt
