Summary:

Our pharma client is seeking a seasoned contract Scientific Business Analyst to bridge laboratory science and IT for their Formulations group. This role serves as a strategic liaison driving an end-to-end LIMS implementation as part of a major enterprise digital transformation program. Scientific Business Analyst - Drug Product Development (DPDT) Serve as the strategic interface between laboratory science, operators, and IT stakeholders to translate scientific operational needs into scalable system solutions. Drive the strategic, end-to-end LIMS implementation for the DPDT formulations group within an organization-wide Digital Transformation Program. Own stakeholder relationship management by building trusted partnerships across scientific and technical teams. Lead requirements elicitation and process mapping to capture business needs, outline current-state processes, and identify value-add opportunities. Partner with IT to design system solutions, draft and execute user acceptance test (UAT) scripts, and champion change management for successful end-user adoption. Scientific Business Analyst - Drug Product Development (DPDT) Strong pharmaceutical or scientific background, preferably focused within a Formulation, pre-clinical, or bio-major lab environment. Solid hands-on understanding of LIMS platforms, with LabWare LIMS being ideal. Working knowledge of dashboards, data visualization tools, and regulatory submission standards. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and process-mapping tools like Lucid. Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
