Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This individual will work closely with the Commissions business area, IT Developers, and System Quality Associates (SQA) to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive the successful delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in an Agile environment, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring alignment between business objectives, development efforts, testing activities, and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Commissions business team, IT Developers, and System Quality Associates (SQA) to gather, analyze, document, and maintain detailed business and system requirements. Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into functional specifications. Support developers throughout the software development lifecycle by clarifying requirements, answering questions, and validating proposed solutions. Collaborate within Agile teams to refine user stories, participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies. Investigate production issues and business challenges, perform root cause analysis, evaluate potential solutions, and recommend corrective actions. Work closely with SQA teams to review test scenarios, ensure requirements coverage, support defect triage and resolution, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements from initial business request through development, testing, implementation, and post-production support. Support audit remediation efforts by analyzing identified gaps, documenting business and system requirements, and partnering with business and IT teams to implement sustainable solutions. Develop and maintain process documentation, requirement artifacts, and supporting materials in accordance with governance and documentation standards. Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance expectations while supporting business and technology initiatives. Manage multiple projects, requirements, dependencies, and deadlines simultaneously while providing clear and timely communication to stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to business partners by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
