Job Description

Summary Position Description:
The Revenue Analyst supports the Business Services team by analyzing sales trends, evaluating job costs and inventory, and contributing to a range of accounting and financial activities. This role is responsible for monitoring revenue performance and assisting with core accounting functions, including billing, warranty processing, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key responsibilities include sales analysis, budget and forecasting, invoicing, and sales tax compliance, while also providing support across other accounting areas as needed. This role reports directly to the Assistant Controller - Revenue.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the development of revenue forecasts and financial projections.
  • Assists with reviewing revenue and cost data to identify trends associated with customers, branch locations and field technicians.
  • Leverages AI-assisted analytical tools.
  • Assists with recurring daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Assists with the development of custom Spreadsheet Query Report generation.
  • Maintains positive relationships with vendors and customers, ensure contact information is accurate and up to date, and resolve any issues timely and professionally.
  • Performs assigned corporate accounting duties related to the monthly close process; accruals, overhead allocations, general ledger management, subledger reconciliations, etc.
  • Posts and processes journal entries as needed.
  • Performs clerical tasks including Service and Warranty Invoice processing and uploading to third party portals.
  • Assists in settling invoice related concerns.
  • Ensures that all department processes and procedures are appropriately documented and executed.
  • Assists with reconciling and reporting sales tax.
  • Offers support and collaboration with all departments and operations.
  • Promotes a positive work environment and company culture.
Education and Experience:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a focus in Accounting.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting/finance preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic to advanced formulas, data organization) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience creating and working with spreadsheets and reports; exposure to SQL or data queries is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered analytics or business intelligence tools (e.
g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
