Job Description

Job Overview To apply, send your resume and cover letter to We're looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to lead the BA function across a diverse and fast-moving portfolio of technology and digital initiatives. This is a generalist role for someone who can move fluidly between infrastructure modernization, emerging-technology adoption, custom development, customer-facing digital experiences, vendor evaluation, and marketing performance work
  • applying the same disciplined analytical foundation to each, while adapting approach, stakeholders, and depth to fit the engagement.
You'll be the liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams: translating ambiguous goals into clear requirements, surfacing risks and constraints before they become problems, and ensuring that whatever gets built or bought actually delivers the value it promised.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and govern the analysis approach. For each engagement, determine the appropriate level of analytical rigor and formality, select fit-for-purpose methods, and establish how requirements, decisions, and changes will be tracked, prioritized, and approved
  • scaling your approach from a quick software evaluation to a multi-phase transformation effort.
Engage stakeholders and elicit real needs. Identify and map the right stakeholders across business, technical, and executive audiences; run client-facing discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops
  • comfortable leading the room solo; and dig past stated requests to uncover the underlying business drivers
  • especially in cross-functional efforts where technical, operational, and customer-experience priorities compete.
Manage requirements through their full lifecycle. Capture, structure, and trace requirements with enough rigor to support handoff to delivery teams; manage change as scope evolves; and keep stakeholders aligned as priorities shift across a multi-project portfolio.

Drive strategy and current/future-state analysis. Assess current organizational capabilities, processes, and technology; define target states and the gap between them; identify risks, dependencies, and assumptions; and shape change strategies and transition plans that account for organizational readiness, not just technical feasibility.

Define solutions and design options. Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements and design considerations suitable for infrastructure architects, developers, AI/ML practitioners, platform vendors, and marketing/web teams alike; evaluate alternative approaches (build, buy, integrate, or optimize) and recommend the option that best balances cost, value, and risk.

Evaluate delivered solutions and outcomes. Define success measures up front, assess solution and vendor performance after go-live, identify root causes when results fall short, and recommend concrete actions to increase realized value
  • closing the loop from business case to business outcome.
Operate across a varied portfolio. Serve as the primary BA across concurrent initiatives (ex. e-commerce implementations, custom development projects, and AI tool roll-outs, including agentic AI solutions) that range from technical and infrastructure-oriented to customer
  • and growth-oriented, adjusting vocabulary, stakeholder maps, and documentation style to match each domain while applying a consistent analytical discipline underneath.
Job Requirements5+ years of progressive business analysis experience, ideally across both technical/infrastructure and customer-facing/digital domains.

Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple concurrent projects with different stakeholder groups, paces, and risk profilesAbility to quickly pick up new technical concepts and tools
  • enough to hold your own in a client meeting, field technical questions on the spot, and know when to loop in a specialistStrong elicitation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the judgment to flex communication style to the audience
  • engineers, executives, marketers, and vendors alikeComfort operating in ambiguity: defining scope and approach where none yet exists, and bringing structure to fast-moving or emerging-technology initiativesSkilled in requirements documentation, traceability, prioritization, and change management practicesExperience evaluating vendor and software options against business requirements, including cost-benefit and value analysisStrong systems thinking•able to see how a change in one area (e.
g., infrastructure, tooling, or a customer-facing platform) ripples into othersExcellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce stakeholder-ready documentation and synthesize complex findings into clear recommendationsNice to HaveCBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent IIBA credential strongly preferred; BABOK-aligned practice experience valuedTechnical skills such as database query writing and data analysisFamiliarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce) and/or hands-on exposure to AI or agentic toolingEnough technical fluency to size and estimate development effort (e.g., rough hours, story points, or t-shirt sizing) in partnership with developers, supporting scoping and proposal conversationsWhy This RoleYou won't be confined to one technology stack or one type of project. You'll set the analytical standard for how the organization scopes, evaluates, and delivers change
  • across everything from backend infrastructure to the systems and platforms customers actually interact with
  • and you'll have real influence over which initiatives move forward and how they're measured.
