Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a compassionate Paraprofessional to support elementary-aged students in an intensive classroom setting near Warwick, RI. This contract role runs through June 2027 and involves working 31.25 hours per week onsite within a dedicated K-3rd grade environment. You'll be part of a collaborative team assisting 11 students with various needs, including language challenges and autism spectrum disorders. Six teaching assistants work together to create a supportive and positive atmosphere, rotating responsibilities as a cohesive group.

Key Qualifications:

Paraprofessional experience in a school setting strongly preferred Meets Rhode Island Department of Education requirements for Paraprofessionals Comfortable with all aspects of personal care, including assisting with toileting and diapering Open to working with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs (language differences, ASD, other disabilities) Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with other TAs and teachers

Primary Responsibilities:
