Our vision is to build the largest small-business coaching and consulting company in the country, with a primary focus on contractors. We aren't there yet, but we're well on our way, and we're looking for people who are excited by the idea of helping build it with us. At the simplest level, we help good businesses become great businesses. We now work with 130-150 different businesses across the United States each week, and we get incredible results. On average, our clients grow significantly (62% annual average) each year, and the people in our organization certainly grow along with them. We're looking for people who want to get there with us - people who want to spend their lives, as Steve Jobs put it, "Making a dent in the universe." Our organization attracts people from all sorts of backgrounds. Some of our top performers didn't graduate from college, and some are former chemical engineers. We aren't looking for experience as much as we're looking for the right kind of person. The right kind of person is someone comfortable in their own skin, trustworthy, motivated, coachable, intelligent, growth-oriented, empathetic, hard-working, and feels called to serve humanity in a valuable way; a person who may not know their specific calling, but knows the calling is there. This isn't meant to be a cliché or overly motivational job post; it is meant to be transparent and sincere. This is really what we're doing, really who we are, and really the quality of people we seek to attract. It's important for us to share this before sharing any specifics of the job, because we can make anyone work as long as they are the right fit with our team and our culture. If reading this caused something within you to light up, then apply. What This Role Really Is The Business & Marketing Consultant sits right in the middle of our clients, our marketing team, and the growth strategy we're implementing for their businesses.
You aren't simply an account manager passing messages back and forth.
You're the person helping the client understand what we're doing, why we're doing it, whether it's working, what we need from them, and what needs to happen next.
You'll build relationships with business owners, learn their companies, review their marketing performance, hold them accountable when something on their side is slowing progress, and work closely with our internal specialists to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You'll also become fluent in the different pieces of the Redmond Growth marketing system: Meta Ads, Google Business Profile, Google Local Services Ads, CMM, websites, lead tracking, and the numbers that tell us whether those things are actually producing business.
Over time, the goal is bigger than learning how to manage marketing accounts. You'll learn how to look at a business, identify what's helping or hurting its growth, have direct conversations with an owner, and help them make better decisions.
That's the consulting part of this role. What You'll Actually Be Doing You'll be the primary point of contact for our marketing clients and will own the communication and follow-through around their marketing program.
