Part-Time Data Analyst, Reserve Studies North Star Reserves | Remote after onsite training in Rigby, ID | Part-Time | $15

•18/hr DOE About us North Star Reserves prepares reserve studies for HOAs and condominium associations. We inspect an association's physical assets and build financial models that forecast repair and replacement costs over 30 years. Boards use our reports to set dues and plan funding, so data accuracy is central to our work. Responsibilities Build and audit spreadsheets of asset inventories, costs, and useful-life data Transfer and reconcile data between Excel, Access, and cloud-based tools Identify and correct errors in large datasets Use AI tools (Claude preferred) to speed up data work while maintaining accuracy Track work and status in shared online project boards Other duties as assigned Required skills

Advanced Excel:

nested formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation (please don't apply if you aren't very comfortable with Excel) Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Access Experience with cloud-based file storage and project management tools Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to learn new software independently Regular use of AI tools in work or school, and ability to explain how you use them (seriously, are you comfortable with more than just chatting with AI tools?) Preferred Experience with Claude Background in finance, accounting, construction, property management, and/or data analysis Schedule and location First 1-2 months: in-person training at our Rigby, Idaho office After training: fully remote (within Idaho), flexible hours College students and experienced professionals welcome This role is not for you if: "Close enough" is close enough You list Excel on your résumé but have never written a nested formula or built a pivot table You need someone looking over your shoulder to stay productive Compensation $15
