We are representing an opportunity for an experienced business analysis professional to support commodity trade operations, hedging initiatives, and application stability across front-to-back processes. This position offers the chance to partner closely with business and technology teams to shape requirements, improve delivery outcomes, and strengthen production support for critical trading workflows.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end business analysis for hedging and trade initiatives, including discovery, process mapping, documentation, and stabilization support. Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for solution delivery. Support SIT and UAT planning and execution, including test strategy input, test case review, coordination, and defect triage. Provide functional and techno-functional support for trade applications, including incident analysis, root-cause investigation, integration troubleshooting, and production readiness activities.
Required:
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst supporting commodity trading and hedging processes in a functional or techno-functional capacity. Experience with ION XTP or similar ION platforms supporting trade processing, integrations, and operational workflows. Experience with ION Openlink (Endur/Openlink) in a functional or techno-functional role supporting trading and risk operations. Proven delivery experience across requirements, process mapping, solution design support, SIT/UAT coordination, defect triage, deployment readiness, hypercare, production support, incident analysis, root-cause investigation, vendor coordination, and operational documentation. Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, testable requirements and manage traceability through testing and release. Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Experience working with market data, pricing, and reference data concepts as they relate to trading and risk reporting.
Preferred:
experience in regulated or controlled environments with strong attention to auditability, controls, and operational risk management; soft commodities such as grains and seeds experience.
