The Principal Strategy - Business Data Analyst will join a highly visible team responsible for analyzing and guiding key business initiatives. This role combines advanced analytics with strategic insight, supporting leadership in making data-driven decisions that impact overall company performance. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable working with complex datasets and presenting actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders. This position requires a strong balance of technical expertise and business understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance insights Partner with business leaders to define metrics and evaluate success across strategic initiatives Build and maintain data processes using SQL and data integration tools Design data models that support scalable reporting and analytics Establish and uphold standards for data accuracy, consistency, and governance Create dashboards and visual reports to communicate findings clearly Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive audiences Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data insights with business priorities

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategy-related roles Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation processes (ETL) Experience working with platforms such as Databricks or similar data environments Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and automation techniques Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders Experience supporting executive-level decision-making Strong analytical mindset combined with business acumen
