Akkodis is seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst for a Contract with a client in Newark, NJ (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with expertise supporting financial data platforms, analyzing complex business requirements, and driving end-to-end delivery of data products within capital markets environments.

Rate Range:

$55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Technical Business Systems Analyst Job Responsibilities include: Own end-to-end delivery and support of financial data products, ensuring data accuracy, stability, timeliness, and operational readiness across business and technology platforms. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, data mappings, transformation rules, and technical solutions. Investigate and resolve production data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems. Develop and execute complex SQL queries to analyze data, validate business logic, support data provisioning, and troubleshoot data quality issues. Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Data Engineering teams to support data onboarding, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements. Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, testing support, and release readiness while driving process optimization and data governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline. 8-10 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Investment Management environments. Strong expertise in financial services data platforms and SQL, including complex query development, data analysis, production support, data mapping, and troubleshooting business-critical data issues. Experience collaborating with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive end-to-end resolution of data quality and operational issues.
