Business Systems Analyst

Description We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a large aviation and materials organization based in the Memphis area. This role is business‑analysis focused, with an emphasis on process discovery, requirements gathering, and system evaluation across enterprise inventory and supply‑chain systems. This is a BA‑first role, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on during discovery, facilitating discussions, and helping define future‑state processes. Responsibilities + Lead business process mapping (As‑Is / To‑Be, L1-L3 where applicable) + Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements + Conduct fit‑gap analysis to support system evaluation and decision‑making + Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand current workflows and future needs + Support initiatives involving ERP, inventory, and supply chain systems + Participate in discovery workshops and stakeholder working sessions + Collaborate with Product Owners, IT teams, and vendors as needed + Help ensure solutions align with business outcomes and operational goals Requirements Requirements + 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst + Strong background in: + Requirements gathering + Process documentation + Fit‑gap and workflow analysis + Experience working with ERP, inventory, or supply chain systems + Comfortable operating in enterprise or regulated environments + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work independently during discovery and analysis phases + Experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or logistics (preferred) + Exposure to Agile or SAFe environments (preferred) + Some Product Owner collaboration experience (supporting product teams, not owning roadmaps) + Experience working with distributed or cross‑functional teams (preferred) + Long‑term contract opportunity with potential to extend Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
