Dell Marketing L.P. is seeking a Consultant, E-Business for its Round Rock, TX facility.
Duties:
Define, create, and manage the shop/buy/own end-to-end e-commerce experiences for Dell.com and Alienware.com. Partner closely with Dell Commerce and Digital organizations (DCE & DCX) to deliver the online journey and website capabilities for Dell customers. Responsible for understanding current and future ecommerce market trends and position Dell as a best in class leader in future website and digital buying experiences, while setting the standard for all other websites and retailers to follow. Perform the development, implementation and coordination of cutting-edge internet marketing strategies while driving merchandising product placement, pathing, promotion and content to optimize conversion and consideration. Participate in campaign management, product launch, online merchandising and end-to-end conversion. Define and drive short and long term product vision, strategy, goal setting and execution for the end to end digital and commerce journey for Dell.com. Work with cross-functional leaders at all levels to drive ecommerce product strategy, website experiences, and serve as subject matter expert, thought leader and trusted advisor with extreme focus on customer experience. Represent and serve the needs of multiple countries across global Dell.com. Make difficult trade-off decisions on features, functionalities and roadmap. Work cross-functionally with business leaders in Consumer and Small Business to ensure Dell.com experience aligns with business strategy and customer experience. Support the identification and building of global ecommerce trends/strategies to ramp growth categories. Use data and customer insights to find opportunities, track results and drive decision making around website experience. Assist teams to prioritize, negotiate and remove obstacles to ensure quality product launches. Assist in the development of the CSB Annual Operating Plans and Strategic pillars that serve as guiding principles for sustained profitability.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, eCommerce/Online Marketing, Computer Science or related field and four (4) years of experience as a Software Developer, Solution Architect, Technical Program Manager, or related occupation. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, eCommerce/Online Marketing, Computer Science or related field and six (6) years of experience as a Software Developer, Solution Architect, Technical Program Manager, or related occupation.
Requires experience with:
leading e-commerce and Online Marketing initiatives; driving strategy, customer experience, commerce capabilities, and performance management for a large scale consumer product at a global scale; building actionable business plans based on understanding of macro-business economics; prioritizing and categorizing complex and highly matrixed environments; leading cross-functional global teams to define and achieve high value objectives; identifying and defining Services direction, requirements and gaps; and delivering on complex e-commerce solutions on a global scale.
