Job Description
• GGS has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst/Systems Administrator to work with our highly skilled team. We are a globally recognized technical publications and engineering services company that serves leading manufacturers in transportation, aerospace, construction, and agricultural equipment. The Business Analyst/System Administrator is responsible for the operational integrity, maintenance, and project support of company's core authoring, delivery, and translation platforms including but not limited to Windchill PDMLink, XML, DITA, RWS WorldServer, Ixiasoft, TMTech Publisher, WebView, Language Weaver, and Titania Delivery. This role ensures system availability, supports integration efforts, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance digital content creation, delivery, and translation workflows. We're looking for a Business Analyst/System Administrator that can accomplish these goals: Analyze business systems related to technical publications to increase automation and productivity. Provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures to meet company requirements. Work with Program Manager, content creators, vendors, and IT to keep systems up to date, troubleshoot user issues, oversee enhancements, mitigate risk, and implement system integrations. Collaborate with IT and system suppliers to ensure maximum up time of systems. Lead department-related goals and support company with root cause analysis and completed solutions. Ability to train Tech Comm team on system support and basic troubleshooting. Skill with data reporting, data analysis tools and techniques required. Aptitude in learning and applying new systems, tools, and technologies to meet business needs. Function as a solution expert on technical publication systems. Provide user support (resolve issues, implement enhancements, provide training) as required. Knowledge of SAP engineering applications beneficial. Understanding of engineering data and engineering change control processes, required.
