Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations at the front desk, manage guest check-in and check-out procedures, and coordinate with various hotel departments to deliver seamless service. Your leadership will set the tone for a welcoming environment, uphold hotel standards, and resolve guest inquiries efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality management skills while fostering a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff. Responsibilities Supervise front desk staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality guest service. Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and promptness, ensuring complete satisfaction. Coordinate reservations through hospitality reservation systems, managing room allocations and special requests effectively. Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and night audit procedures to ensure smooth financial operations. Enforce hotel policies and emergency procedures, including hotel safety protocols and guest relations standards. Manage multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear communication with guests, vendors, and internal departments at all times. Support the team in handling late-night operations, including night audit activities and resolving any issues that arise during overnight shifts. Foster a welcoming environment by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving skills. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to uphold property standards and guest safety. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting. Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle complex client interactions confidently. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and guest relations best practices. Excellent communication skills via phone and in person; adept at managing multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette. Previous experience in hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS). Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Resort experience or extensive hotel experience is preferred to understand the nuances of luxury hospitality service.
