We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Production Buyer with a strong background in procurement and supply chain coordination within a manufacturing setting. Adept at managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to support seamless production workflows. Skilled in balancing costefficiency with inventory control, and deadline adherence. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with production planning and logistics teams to optimize procurement strategies and reduce delays or budget overruns.What You'll Do:
This personnel will work closely with manufacturing/engineering personnel to support existing production lines, internal processes, and understands the fabrication of products. Identify production requirements and create procurement plans in line with schedules and budgets. Source, evaluate, and purchase materials needed for production activities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms. Monitor costs and identify opportunities for savings without compromising on quality or deadlines. Track stock levels and ensure the timely delivery of goods to avoid production delays. Ensure purchased items meet quality and compliance standards; handle returns or issues as needed.
