Specialist I, Procurement Summary This position will facilitate indirect material procurement activities related to construction projects and production operations, and will coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related suppliers. This role is responsible for supporting sourcing activity and maximizing investment efficiency, in order to improve the business competitiveness.Responsibilities:
Manage supplier relationships Create and issue purchasing orders (POs) Quote goods and service, installation Cost analysis and support price negotiation Track purchasing orders Ensure invoices are getting paid Support internal teams for purchasing needs Register new vendor and supplier payment accounts Create monthly purchase history reports (data) Support activity related to sourcing vendors and suppliers Purchase everything except raw materials Support contract negotiation and contract managementQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, engineering or related fieldExperience:
1 or more years of experience (internships included) in construction procurement or supply chain management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience managing purchase orders, contract administration. Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract coordination (within construction or project-based environments preferred).Skills:
Proven global sourcing skills (supplier related to construction) MS Office Suite Data-driven decision-making Time management Coordinating Communication Cost Analysis of the purchasing items (Cost Structure, etc.) Multi-task and meet deadlines Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support and work with HQ and global sites Why should you work here? 1.
