In this role, you will play a vital part in sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Your proactive approach and analytical skills will help optimize vendor relationships, control costs, and maintain accurate inventory levels. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in procurement systems and supply chain management within a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Assist with the procurement of materials, components, supplies, and services in accordance with established purchasing procedures. Prepare, issue, and maintain purchase orders and related purchasing documentation. Review purchasing requisitions and verify quantities, specifications, pricing, and required delivery dates. Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers regarding order status, confirmations, lead times, and delivery schedules. Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, delivery dates, product specifications, and other purchasing requirements. Assist in obtaining and evaluating supplier quotations. Support the maintenance of accurate supplier, pricing, and purchasing information within the Company's ERP system. Monitor material requirements and communicate potential shortages or delays to the appropriate departments. Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, and other internal depts to resolve purchasing material related issues. Perform other related duties and special projects assigned. Experience Previous experience or internship in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management is preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems such as

SAP, SAP ERP, JD

Edwards, or Oracle EBS is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Excellent communication skills for vendor negotiation and relationship management. Understanding of procurement processes including sourcing, pricing strategies, direct negotiation procurement, and vendor relationship management. Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams supporting purchasing management systems and accounting software integration.
