Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Buyer/Purchaser to join our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely acquisition of components necessary for our manufacturing processes. Your expertise with component sourcing and PCB knowledge will help optimize inventory levels, streamline supply chain operations, and support our production goals. Duties Develop and execute purchasing strategies to secure quality materials at competitive prices for BOM's and RFQ's Collaborate with vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and service levels, fostering strong vendor relationships. Manage purchase orders and track procurement activities through materials management and supply chain management systems Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory management teams to prevent stock shortages or excess stock. Analyze Excel data and spreadsheets to evaluate supplier performance, pricing trends, and procurement metrics for continuous improvement. Support sourcing initiatives by identifying new suppliers and evaluating their capabilities to meet quality and delivery standards. Maintain accurate procurement records, process invoices using accounting software, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Skills Proficiency in ERP systems such as

SAP, SAP ERP, JD

Edwards, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, and supply chain processes. Experience with purchasing management systems that are technically supported within organizations. Excellent vendor communication skills with a focus on vendor relationship management and negotiation tactics. Skilled in Excel data analysis for procurement insights and decision-making. Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and direct negotiation procurement strategies.
