Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Technical Trainer/Course Development (Semiconductor) professional for a full-time onsite opportunity in San Jose, California. This role combines hands-on semiconductor equipment expertise with technical instruction and course development in classroom, laboratory and cleanroom environments. The position develops and delivers training on industrial photolithography equipment for customers and internal technical personnel. The trainer will also develop and maintain technical course materials, verify technical procedures and operate and maintain training equipment to ensure availability for instruction and demonstrations.

TECHNICAL TRAINING
Conduct user training on photolithography products in-house and at customer sites Deliver classroom and laboratory training to internal and external customers Provide instruction covering equipment operation, preventive maintenance, applications and installation Train customers and engineering technicians Deliver detailed presentations on technical topics Share technical information and help improve the technical knowledge of less-experienced colleagues
COURSE DEVELOPMENT
Develop new internal and external technical training materials Revise existing technical materials to maintain accuracy and currency Verify technical procedures used to support field service technicians and customers Prepare technical presentations and instructional materials Approximately 70% of the role is training and 30% is course development
HANDS-ON EQUIPMENT SUPPORT
Operate and maintain training equipment and training facilities Prepare instructional areas within the San Jose facility Perform hands-on work with semiconductor equipment Support troubleshooting activities Maintain equipment availability for training and demonstrations Work with mechanical and electrical systems and hand tools
CUSTOMER COLLABORATION
Contact customers to discuss training needs Gather feedback on current training programs and systems Deliver training at customer locations as required Translate complex technical information into effective instruction
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Full-time onsite presence in San Jose is required Classroom training environment Laboratory training environment Cleanroom / fab environment Cleanroom work requires full cleanroom suit, facemask, gloves and safety glasses Flexible shifts may be required Close visual acuity is required for technical reading, equipment inspection, small parts, measurement devices and equipment-related work TRAVEL Approximately 30% travel based on current account manager information Approximately 80% of travel is domestic Domestic or international trips may last 1-2 weeks International travel approximately 1-2 times per year Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for company business
Requirements:
Instructor experience
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field OR equivalent experience, with 3-5 years of related work experience

Semiconductor process-related experience

Semiconductor industry experience
REQUIRED
Hands-on hardware technical background, including equipment troubleshooting
REQUIRED
Ability to work in a cleanroom / fab environment

Mechanical and electrical technical capability, including use of hand tools
REQUIRED
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
