The Buyer I is responsible for day-to-day procurement of materials, components, and services that keep Tendeg's antenna production on schedule. This role places and manages purchase orders, tracks deliveries, and works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production to make sure the right parts arrive on time and to spec. It's a strong entry point into aerospace supply chain, with room to grow into more complex commodity ownership as Tendeg scales production. What you'll do: Issue purchase orders for raw materials, components, and outside services based on production schedules and engineering requirements. Track open orders and proactively expedite or reschedule deliveries to protect build schedules and program milestones. Maintain accurate purchasing records in Tendeg's ERP/MRP system, including pricing, lead times, and supplier performance data. Resolve day-to-day supplier issues, such as discrepancies in pricing, quantity, specification, or delivery. Work with Receiving and Quality to resolve non-conforming material and coordinate returns or rework with suppliers. Support requests for quote (RFQ) activities, including gathering quotes and comparing supplier proposals. Maintain supplier documentation required for AS9100 quality andITAR/EAR
export compliance. Communicate schedule risks tied to material availability to the Supply Chain Manager and Production planning. Perform other duties as assigned. What you'll need: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years of purchasing, buying, or materials-coordination experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Comfort working in an ERP/MRP system for purchasing and inventory transactions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple open orders at once. Clear written and verbal communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders. U.S. Person status required due to export-controlled data andITAR/EAR
compliance.Nice-to-haves:
Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or another regulated manufacturing environment. Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality management systems. Exposure to composites, electro-mechanical, or electronics commodities. This is a full-time, exempt position based onsite in Louisville, CO, with a base salary range of $65,000- 70,000 .
