As a Buyer in our manufacturing plant, you will help secure reliable supply, strengthen supplier partnerships, and contribute to efficient, cost-conscious purchasing processes.
Your Key Responsibilities Support the preparation of market analyses and the implementation of category strategies for the plant. Develop and execute profitable purchasing strategies and negotiation approaches in close alignment with relevant functions and stakeholders. Monitor the supply market continuously and manage the supplier portfolio to ensure quality, cost efficiency, on-time delivery, sustainability, and compliance with contractual and legal requirements. Negotiate prices and conditions in line with internal purchasing guidelines and contractual requirements, and manage supplier contracts professionally. Coordinate the assigned suppliers, including purchase price planning and the definition and tracking of saving initiatives that support plant performance. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Several years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, or a comparable commercial role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong negotiation skills and confidence in supplier management Good command of English Structured, analytical, and team-oriented way of working External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
