$50,000 - $60,000 per year About the Opportunity A well-established distribution company is seeking an experienced Buyer I to join its Purchasing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with vendors, inventory management, and supply chain operations. The Buyer I will play an important role in maintaining inventory availability, supporting vendor relationships, managing purchase orders, and contributing to ongoing process improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders.
• Follow up with vendors regarding orders, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records within the ERP system.
• Track and close open purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Accounts Payable to reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Analyze pricing, landed costs, and purchasing data to support buying decisions.
• Develop and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Support purchasing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Perform additional purchasing and supply chain duties as needed.
