Reschedule orders and deliveries as needed to both minimize excess material and ensure continuity of supply. Establish and maintain lot sizes to leverage supplier economic order quantities and optimize container utilization. Work with operations to ensure efficient use of available space. Select appropriate supplier to meet cost and delivery targets. Process purchase order requests to meet material demands for the location. Review and provide input to forecasted usage. React to customer order and forecasted demand changes and maintain system due dates and planning parameters. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Research and obtain corrective action plans for supplier quality issues. Contribute to operational excellence by meeting departmental and company KPI's.
