$25-30p/hr. Overview Seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchase order processing , procurement operations , and supply chain transactions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, urgency handling, and the ability to manage high-volume purchasing activities while ensuring accurate order execution and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders (POs) , including creation, updates, tracking, and closeout. Process and convert requisitions into purchase orders within ERP systems . Monitor and maintain all open purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate records. Analyze purchasing activity and prepare reports on spend management , vendor performance, and PO status. Identify opportunities for process improvement and procurement automation . Support catalog/punchout purchasing programs and drive efficiency improvements. Maintain strong supplier relationships and support procurement best practices. Ensure compliance with established sourcing policies , procedures, and procurement standards. Partner with internal teams to identify and implement system enhancements that improve purchasing performance. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Procurement , Purchasing , or Supply Chain Management . Strong knowledge of procurement processes and purchase order management . Experience handling high-value and time-sensitive purchasing requests. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving , organizational, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience using ERP systems and e-Procurement platforms . Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 . Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Purchasing , Supply Chain Management , or related field.
