FOUR-DAY

workweek, Monday through Thursday! You'll play an important role in making sure the right materials, components, and supplies are available when production needs them, while also working with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and reliable delivery. What You'll Be Doing Purchase metals, raw materials, components, and manufacturing supplies Monitor inventory and production requirements to ensure materials are available when needed Request and compare supplier quotes Create, review, and track purchase orders Negotiate pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and supplier terms Build strong, long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing processes Partner with Production, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Contracts Review blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work when sourcing materials Work with MRP/ERP systems, Excel, Outlook, and other purchasing tools Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation Contribute ideas that improve efficiency and support continuous improvement What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who understands manufacturing purchasing from the inside out . 5-10 years of purchasing, estimating, or supply chain experience in manufacturing Experience purchasing metals, raw materials, components, or manufacturing supplies Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain processes Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships MRP/ERP system experience Ability to understand blueprints and technical specifications preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to prioritize and keep multiple purchasing needs moving in a fast-paced environment Why You'll Want to Take a Look $28-$30/hour based on experience Monday-Thursday schedule 6:00 AM-4:30 PM Four-day workweek Full-Time Manufacturing environment Opportunity to make a direct impact on production and purchasing operations If you're ready for a purchasing position where your experience, supplier knowledge, and decision-making skills are valued , this could be a great next step.
