TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Maintenance Buyer to support reliable plant operations by sourcing and purchasing MRO parts, materials, and services for our manufacturing facilities. In this on-site role, you will manage suppliers, negotiate pricing and service levels, and ensure timely delivery of critical spare parts to minimize equipment downtime. You will create and track purchase orders, monitor inventory, and analyze spend to drive cost savings. Working closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams, you will support continuous improvement, safety, and quality while upholding our standards of integrity, teamwork, and customer focus. Responsibilities Source and purchase MRO parts, materials, and services for plant maintenance operations Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and service-level agreements Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with maintenance and production teams Analyze spend data to identify cost savings and consolidation opportunities Create and manage purchase orders in ERP/procurement systems Ensure on-time delivery of critical spare parts to minimize downtime Collaborate with engineering, reliability, and operations on equipment needs Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation Support continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives Resolve invoice, delivery, and quality issues with suppliers Required Skills MRO purchasing Maintenance parts sourcing Supplier negotiation Contract and pricing management ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Inventory management for MROData analysis and cost reduction Purchase order management Vendor performance management Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment
