Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance Position Summary Cameo Consulting Group, LLC. is seeking multiple experienced Procurement Analysts to support the Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) Regional Contracting Office (RCO). The successful candidate will provide acquisition-policy, contract-analysis, administrative, and contract-administration support for a dynamic federal contracting environment serving MARFORRES and Marine Forces South. This is a contractor-support role. The Procurement Analyst will conduct research, analyze acquisition documentation, develop recommendations and guidance, manage reports and suspense items, and support contracting personnel. The individual will not exercise contracting-officer authority, negotiate with vendors, make source-selection decisions, determine price reasonableness, or perform other inherently governmental functions. Responsibilities Research federal procurement laws, regulations, decisions, policies, and guidance, including the
FAR, DFARS, DFARS PGI, NMCARS, MAPP, OMB
Circulars, GAO/Comptroller General decisions, and relevant board and court decisions. Compile research and analyses to assist Government personnel in assessing acquisition procedures and implementing policy or regulatory changes. Analyze contracts, contracting actions, and supporting documentation to support development of acquisition policies, procedures, templates, and guidance materials. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely technical recommendations, reports, briefings, spreadsheets, and other written products for contracting officers, management officials, and technical staff. Support requirement reviews, market research, solicitation development, price-analysis documentation, and contract-administration activities as assigned. Maintain suspense lists and track contract-administration actions, including coordination related to funding, acceptance, payment, and required documentation. Perform administrative support such as data entry, filing, report distribution, meeting scheduling, presentation preparation, and records management. Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ensure work products are accurate, timely, complete, and free of major errors. Protect Government-furnished information, equipment, controlled unclassified information, and sensitive acquisition information. Complete and maintain required security, privacy, cyber-awareness, CUI, and installation-access training requirements. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, Contracts, Purchasing, Economics, Industrial Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, Organization/Management, or a related discipline. At least five years of direct federal procurement experience in a GS-1102-series or equivalent contracting/procurement-support capacity. At least one year of experience conducting fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex acquisition or contracting issues. Demonstrated knowledge of federal and DoD acquisition policy, regulations, laws, directives, and procurement-management practices. Experience reviewing contract files, acquisition documentation, contracting actions, and supporting records. Strong analytical, research, organizational, and written-communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain suspense items, and deliver accurate work by required deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat. m. Preferred Qualifications Prior Department of War / DoD, Navy, Marine Corps, or other defense-agency acquisition experience. Experience supporting a Policy and Oversight Branch, procurement-policy office, contracting office, or acquisition center. Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps acquisition processes, NMCARS, MAPP, and Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2). Experience with SAM.gov, PIEE, WAWF, EDA, ePS, or related federal procurement systems. Active DoD Secret clearance or an active/recent security clearance eligible for reciprocity. Experience preparing acquisition-policy guidance, internal standard operating procedures, templates, or training materials.
