Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations to ensure compliance during every trip Manage route driving with precision, adhering to schedules while optimizing delivery paths for maximum efficiency Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when loading and unloading merchandise at retail stores or customer locations Build positive customer relationships through professional communication, prompt service, and attentive client interaction Conduct merchandising activities such as product placement and inventory checks at delivery points Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer experience and increase revenue Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving or commercial truck driving preferred Strong knowledge of driving safety, route planning, and automobile transportation regulations Basic math skills for accurate pricing calculations and transaction handling Excellent communication skills for effective client communication and team coordination Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices Retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising is a plus Organizational skills to manage delivery schedules, paperwork, and route documentation efficiently Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards required for commercial vehicle operation Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise fuels customer satisfaction!
